The Winter Workshop held in Salina February 18 & 19 was a huge success. The 202 attendees at the workshop gave the slate of presenters high marks.
The Federal issues presented, Wage & Hour, FMLA and IRS as well as Classified Personnel issues were of general interest to all school district personnel. The presenters were informative and answered questions from the group.
KASBO is fortunate to have among its ranks a cadre of members that are willing to take time from their busy schedules and prepare presentations on topics of interest to the membership. These active practitioners lend a great deal of credence to the audience. We thank them for their time and efforts.
The In-service committee is to be commended for developing outstanding workshop programs that meet the needs of the membership.
The In-service committee for the 1997-98 year was: Alan Schuler, Chairman, Myrna Morrison, Rod Dietz and Tim Rooney. Back to Top
