The KASBO Academy has been formed by the KASBO Board of Directors to offer training to Kansas school business officials that will lead to certification as a KASBO School Business Official.
We envision a program of training that covers basic information and competencies required of Kansas business officials.
On Friday, May 3, we are offering School District Accounting and Budgeting at a cost of $150, which includes 6 hours of instruction and lunch. Please see the course information below:

3. Bookkeeping Activities
4. Bookkeeping Requirements - Kansas Account Codes
5. General Ledger Accounting and Financial Statements

*** This class is a repeat of the class previously named Intermediate Governmental Accounting***
You must be a KASBO member to register.
Registration will be limited to the first 45 members who register.
2024 KASBO Elections are Here!
Each year, nominations of highly qualified Association members are presented as candidates for the KASBO Board of Directors. This year is no exception as we have four candidates for the KASBO Board of Directors. You've seen them at KASBO Conferences before and now they are each seeking your vote to be on the KASBO Board of Directors.
Two members are voted on and selected for the Board with voting taking place at the Annual Convention & Expo.
Voting will take place on Wednesday, April 17 and on the morning of Thursday, April 18 with the top 2 vote getters being presented as the new Directors.
Voting ballots will be handed out at the registration table, one to each member as they register and pick up their 2024 KASBO ACE information. Voter cards will only be given out to the member as they sign in for the conference. Only one ballot per current KASBO Association member.

2023 Karen Schadel ASBO Scholarship
This $2,500 scholarship is presented in memory of Karen Schadel, who served as KASBO's Executive Director for many years, and provides financial assistance to attend the ASBO International Annual Convention and Expo. This venue offers an opportunity to network with global colleagues, participate in professional development, and explore the variety of school business resources that ASBO International provides.
